Summer 2018

create more joy!

“We can all fall into the motions of life, and forget to incorporate that which brings us Joy”

Each human life has the potential to be joyful, happy, and awe-inspiring. Our lives are, in truth, ours to design. Each day, we can make choices that influence the nature of our experiences. Our decisions determine whether our paths are boring and tedious, or breathtaking and joyful. We can create an exciting life by simply doing what excites and brings us joy in addition to all life’s responsibilities. They responsibilities of life never end anyway!

When you choose to do more of what brings you joy, even if your choices require you to make certain sacrifices, your daily life will soon be filled with pleasure and optimistic anticipation.

To understand what excites you, you may need to observe and ponder your reaction to the activities, events, circumstances, and choices that make up your life. What makes your pulse race, what makes you want to get out of your chair and take dance? Try to avoid getting too wrapped up in life’s details; their tedium may cause you to plod through your existence unaware of prospective joy. Once you have created a substantial list of what brings you joy, find ways to integrate each item into your routine. You will soon find yourself riding a wave of joy that lifts you up and makes life truly worth living.

 Invitation from Coach
Create: “My personal JOY list”
(create first) (don’t judge, just write)
What am I going to integrate today?
What am I going to integrate every week?
Who am I when I am more joyful?
How do I interact with others?
What does my body tell me when I add more joyful things to my life?

Happy Summer 2018
